We do NOT jet wash roofs for a number of good reasons:
- firstly, all leading tile manufacturers such as Marley Tiles specifically warn against it because it strips the protective granular coating and can invalidate warranties.
- blasting with high pressure WILL damage and dislodge tiles

We combine manual moss removal and low pressure soft washing producing results every bit as good as jet washing.
We access the roof using ladders or scaffold towers and perhaps a scissor lift if access is problematic. Then carefully scrape away moss with extension poles and specially adapted scraping tools.
Downpipes are covered before we start to prevent them getting blocked from loose moss and tarpaulin is laid on the ground around the house to collect any falling moss. Gutters are of course emptied and left free of any moss or debris when we finish the job. We promise to leave your property every bit as tidy as we found it.
If the customer only wants roof moss removed without a soft wash we finish off by applying a moss inhibiting roof anti fungicide to prevent regrowth for several years.
